I love this place. 😍 It's always good never had a problem. With it their burritos and steak fries are so delicious. Their ceviche is awesome. Forever going to be my favorite Mexican joint

Love it! They're shrimp and chicken burrito is bomb also steak and shrimp too. They're super burrito is really big portion. Over all loved it. The steak and cheese casidilla was alright.

We have been eating here for a few years and maybe they might have changed owners. Our dinner was not good and the grill needs to be cleaned off more. I do not want burnt bits of food on my fresh meat nor my tortillas gritty with black stuff. Very disappointing.The person taking the order apparently does not write down what you want correctly. The order was wrong for lime the 3rd time and they are rude.

Good authentic Mexican food.

Delicious street tacos that are very reasonably priced. Friendly staff and plenty of seating is available. They take phone orders and parking lot is spacious. This is my local go-to.

Well, I just ordered $80 worth of food and the gal handed me my food without a thank you, or a hello or a goodbye. When I got home I found out that there was no Pico de gallo or salsa or anything in the bag. I called back and the attitude was basically screw you. Last time I go there.

I liked this place. Burrito was very large and tasted great and was a good price. Also impressed with the cleanliness. Service is slow, but it seemed to just be that they were very busy. I'm glad I took a chance and stopped in despite the low ratings. I would definitely stop here again.

The menudo was xlnt but the asada burrito was too dry & flavorless

I really enjoy their carne asada fries and tacos but their customer service is always lacking and the cashiers are always unpleasant.

I am a big fan of this little Mexican Seafood (marisco) restaurant. It's small and has the usual Mexican cuisine offering, but they also offer a good selection of seafood. Whatever you get is done well and with care. Portions are generous, too. They have several Mexican beers, too, including my favorite, Negra Modelo. Take out or eat in. Mexican TV running on the back wall with soccer or drama in Spanish. It's down home. Enjoy!

Food was good. Just surprised they had a 'pass' from inspection. The place was dirty. Seating & kitchen. Hopefully it improves.

Compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area this place is pricey.Carnitas were bland and overly crispy. Portions were small.

Best taqueria in Antioch! Love their meat choices. I always order my shrimp and steak super burrito. I wish they had black beans, other than that highly recommended!

Unprofessional in phone etiquette. Not personable and friendly when asking on clarity of pricing. Acted as if it was an insult. Guacamole is runny. I've had much better food and service at Salsa on Delta Fair.

This is surely one of the finest place to eat in the area. Whenever I visit this place I am profoundly happy. They maintain their very high standard service and the topmost level of meals they give. You surely will enjoy this this place. Warmly recommended.

Love the food at El Caporal Taqueria. The staff is friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very friendly and inviting. The food prices are very reasonable and you definitely get your money's worth.

I love the vegetarian California Burrito, Scrambled eggs, French fries and the medium salsa, yummy. The young crew always put attention to the special request from vegetarian like me.

The food was very tasty. Good salsa and grilled or roasted jalapenos. Pretty fair variety on the menu. Next time I'm in town I'll likely stop in again. Even my three year old niece was ver pleased with her food. Thanks for a nice dining experience.

Authentic cuisine full of favor always served hot with your choice of spices

The food was poor quality and had absolutely no flavor. The customer service was good, they refunded one of my 3 orders for my family. Kids ate the rest of it. Adults had to find another place.

I've never been to a Mexican restaurant where they actually grill the chickenand cook the tortillas over an open flame! This place is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Contra Costa County

I won't go back! And the reason is one of ladies that takes the orders and she's a Cashiers is Very Rude and she tried to Charge me more for the item I ordered than the price it's listed for on the menu. This was my third encounter with her all 3x she wasn't friendly! However the food is Good

I ordered a torta with fries, I was so happy to try their torta for the first time. When I got home I realized they had put chips instead of fries.What I had spent for the torta wasn't worth it, worse taqueria ever, that's why I love carnitas tijuana over in Pittsburg; best Mexican food around the area.

This is one of the only Taqueria's I will constantly order from. Their pozole is to die for. Haven't found a single spot that makes better pozole.
